Nancy is a Victoria native and a grand daughter of Webb & Grace DeTar. She is an award winning author and nationally recognized leader of transformation in elder care. Her career in elder care began in the 1980s, as a nursing home administrator involved in deinstitutionalizing care environments and culture. For the past 25 years, Nancy has worked closely with many courageous and passionate people, including Dr. William Thomas, on a journey to seek a better world for our elders and those who care for them.
Nancy is a national and international speaker and educator and has presented at many major conferences.
She is the author of two books, ‘The Journey of a Lifetime: Leadership Pathways to Culture Change in Long-Term Care’, and recently published ‘Lessons in Leadership for Person-Centered Elder Care’.
As president of Krueger Construction, Kevin Krueger is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and its strategic growth. Since the early 1960s, Krueger Construction has grown building for a variety of industries across the Texas Gulf Coast and South Texas and is consistently featured as one of the Top 100 ranked construction firms by Texas Construction Magazine.
Besides directing Krueger Construction, Kevin also oversees the development of The 127 Group, a Kingdom-minded leadership company that works with business, athletic organizations, churches and non-profits. The 127 Group works by helping organizations to build leaders and their spaces so they can solve their biggest problems with building quality organizations.
Kevin serves on numerous non-profit organizations as a board member, steward or volunteer.
