Chris Alvord is a member of the executive team of the Green Gate Fund, focusing on project management. He has been a senior executive in consulting, technology, risk management, contingency planning and information security for 30+ years in several industries.
Over his career, Chris has had leadership positions in several consultancies, including Computer Sciences Corporation and American Management Systems where he designed and built industry-leading solutions and led numerous complex, large-scale projects. At AMS he created an industry-leading consulting practice that Gartner Group rated best-in-class globally for ability to execute large eBusiness projects.
Chris has a BA in Economics with honors from Harvard College, an MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School, and done doctoral course work at Virginia Tech. Now living in Wimberley, Texas with his wife Vicki, Chris enjoys a large extended family spread from China to England and everywhere in between. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, singing, gardening and age group running.
With the Eden House model in mind, he envisions better assisted living where elders enjoy exceptional quality of life and care, with their families and staff engaging in meaningful relationships.
